We'll begin with an initial conversation to set the stage for the coaching engagement. We'll review past assessments and performance reviews and discuss your challenges, strengths, gaps, and aspirations to begin shaping possible development themes.
With your consent, I will interview five or six people to gather additional perspectives about your strengths, opportunities for growth, and blind spots that may exist.
I will analyze the results of the previous activities and condense the identified themes into a summary report. You and I will review this report and, together, we'll identify your coaching goals and develop a practical action plan for achieving them.
Then, the magic happens when we move into our monthly coaching!
You'll have one-on-one time with me every two weeks, during which we'll engage in focused and content-rich discussions and conclude with actionable next steps to guide you towards your goals. Adhering to an every-other-week coaching schedule keeps our coaching conversations and action plans top-of-mind and moving forward.
I'm your coach all month long and available whenever you need me, so when you have an opportunity or challenge you want to work through or run past me, we'll connect in between your regularly scheduled coaching sessions.
You won't be put through a barrage of aptitude or psych tests. That said, I do have a few assessments I like to use to enhance your self-awareness and provide information about your natural talents and strengths, preferred behavioral and interaction style, and leadership approach.
And since this coaching is self-directed and customized, additional materials may be used to enhance your coaching experience if I feel they will be helpful. Skills and talent assessments facilitated internally by your organization may be incorporated, as well.
The introductory call is a free, 30-minute conversation with no pressure and no obligation. It is simply a chance for us to connect, for you to share where you are and what you are seeking, and for both of us to determine whether this coaching is the right fit. You will leave the call with clarity, whether or not we decide to work together.
