Imagine this scenario: you're in a conversation, but your rapport with your conversation partner is still in its early stages. In this situation, launching a heavy, deeply probing question right away could derail the dialogue. Why? Because it's essential to be mindful of the context and the level of rapport in any conversation before diving into sensitive or intrusive inquiries.

Unless you are engaging with a person (or group of individuals) with whom you already share a strong rapport, it's best to begin with lighter, less intrusive questions. Then, as trust and comfort gradually build, you can transition into more challenging inquiries and introduce more intrusive questions and introspective topics. This strategic progression will create an environment conducive to more meaningful and challenging dialogue as the conversation unfolds, ultimately leading to deeper connections and more enriching discussions.
